Vintage Carousel Postcards

An evening in the parlor perusing an album of collected cards was a popular form of entertainment in the early part of the 20th century before telephones, automobiles and air travel opened up the world to those seeking to expand their horizons. Postcards were links to loved ones near and far. Sometimes images of carousels are only found in postcards, so even if they are just of the buildings that housed them and we don’t know what carousels were inside, we are grateful for their existence. Some of the carousels in these postcards have survived and a few of the buildings still exist
The postcards are in order by state, city, location. The postmark date is listed where present or there in NP for No Postmark.
